The MP-9 is a submachine gun that was designed in the late 1990s by the Swiss company Brugger & Thomet (B&T). It is a compact and lightweight weapon designed specifically for use by law enforcement and special forces units, but has also gained popularity in the civilian market as a semi-automatic pistol-caliber carbine. The weapon has a collapsible stock and a removable suppressor, making it very compact and easy to transport. Its small size and light weight make it ideal for use in confined spaces and urban environments.
The MP-9 laser tag submachine gun is part of our Elite series and is based on the body of a gas airsoft rifle. Although the body of the weapon is made almost entirely of impact-resistant plastic, the tagger is extremely durable. Only the magazine is made of metal, similar to the MP-5G.
The MP-9 laser tag gun has nearly identical characteristics to the combat prototype with the silencer installed. It weighs 1.7 kilograms and has a length of 28.3 inches (72 centimeters) with the stock extended and 19.7 inches (50 cm) when folded.
The body features two Picatinny rails, one on the top of the barrel for mounting collimator sights, and another on the right for additional attachments such as laser pointers or tactical flashlights. It is activated by turning the key in a special lock.
Since there was no room inside the body for a charging handle reload mechanism, the weapon is reloaded by pushing the button. The gun uses an 800 mAh lithium-ion battery that provides up to 10 hours of play without recharging.
The game set includes a tactical grip that is integral into the body, and the safety switch is located on the trigger. It has retained its original function.
The optical system used in the gun guarantees reliable target hits at a distance of up to 500 feet (about 150 meters) when using the Prism optics and up to 1,000 feet (about 300 meters) with the Parallax optics.
