The GR4-G26 "Eagle" laser tagger is based on an G&G airsoft gun. The receiver of this tagger is made of metal (aluminum alloy). The buttstock, magazine, handguard and pistol grip are made of high-strength nylon-reinforced ABS type polymer. Most of the small parts are also made of aluminum alloy.

The laser tag gun is turned on and switched between fire modes using the fire mode selector located on the left side of the magazine chamber. After a long period of testing reliability of the tagger, the developers decided to placed the reload button. The power socket is located on the handguard.

The RIS rail, located on both the receiver cover and the forearm top, has mechanical sights in the form of a detachable rear and flip-up front sight or can be used to mount optional optical or red dot sights.

The collapsible buttstock of the laser tag gun can be fixed in several positions which changes the length of the laser tag gun in the range of 33 to 37 inches (from 84 to 94 cm).

The rubber butt pad and the embossed rubber pad on the plastic magazine make the tagger very comfortable to use. Therefore, it will be convenient for the player to hold this laser tag gun in their hands even for a long time.

The buttstock has a hidden compartment in which the player can store some necessary "little things" that are needed during long games, such as batteries for optical sights or flashlights. This compartment is opened by pressing a button on the lower left side of the buttstock.

Due to the lightweight aluminum alloy construction, this laser tag gun weighs only 5.1 lb (2.3 kg), but we recommend it for personal use only. Inside the laser tag gun is a 2.2 amp-hour battery that allows the player to use it for up to 36 hours without recharging. The range of fire depends on the type of infrared optics. With Prism optics it will be up to 820 feet (250 meters) and with Parallax optics up to 1,000 feet (300 meters) with a narrower beam.
