The basis of this laser tag pistol is a pneumatic gas-balloon pistol (a copy of the Russian Army’s Yarygin pistol) with fully integrated electronics, except for the optical system, which here is made in the form of a pistol silencer, like in action movies about assisins and special agents, in contrast to the regular Grach laser tag pistol, which has built-in optics.
The pistol’s body is made of impact-resistant plastic, and the slide frame, which performs laser tag pistol’s reloading function, is made of metal. Picatinny rails on the bottom of the barrel allow the owner to mount additional sights or a tactical flashlight, which is useful when playing at night or in dark indoor arenas.
The length of the pistol, including the barrel, is 12.8 inches (32.5 cm). The maximum firing range with pistol optics is up to 330 feet (100 meters), and the sure-hit distance is 260 ft. (about 80 meters). The weight of the laser tag pistol is 1.6 lb (720 grams), and the player must take into account that the center of mass is shifted closer to the muzzle due to the external optics.
Since the base pistol has an exceptionally durable air pistol body, we can recommend it for the laser tag rental business, because its appearance will appeal to both children and adults. At the same time, it can be used both as a stand-alone tagger and as a secondary weapon along with a sniper or assault rifle.
To reload the laser tag pistol, use the hammer behind the slide frame.
Power is supplied by a 0.75 ampere-hour battery , enough for 10 hours of play. The power socket is located on the underside of the pistol grip along with the switching on button.
