The Kalashnikov sniper rifle is a prototype that never made it into production, losing out in accuracy to the Dragunov sniper rifle under the Soviet MoD contest.
Based on a deactivated AK assault rifle with a shortened magazine, our laser tag sniper rifle is made entirely of gun steel, except for the buttstock and other elements made of gun-grade polyamide, making it part of our Steel Series. This laser tag gun can be used in the toughest rental conditions, especially since it can last up to 36 hours on a single battery charge. It can be charged with any Li+ charger or spider.
The receiver cover features a full-length Picatinny rail for mounting telescopic or collimator sights, as well as thermal and night-vision sights for nighttime games.
This laser tag sniper rifle is reloaded by the charging handle mechanism, like all our laser tag rifles based on the Kalashnikov design. The sniper rifle is also authentically turned on, just like it is reloaded, using the weapon's safety switch.
The electronics, including a powerful 2.2 Ah battery, are fully integrated inside the sniper rifle. The optics, like on most of our high-fidelity models, are in the form of an external tube. If the player uses a Prism optic for shooting, with a range of up to 820 feet (250 meters), it resembles a sniper suppressor. If the player is using a Parallax optics to play, which can hit enemies at distances of up to 1,300 feet (400 meters), the end of the tagger's barrel looks like a weapon muzzle brake.
The rifle weighs 8.2 lbs (3.7 kilograms) and is 42.5 inches (108 centimeters) long.
