The PP-19-01 is a submachine gun designed and manufactured in Russia. It is also known as the Vityaz-SN and features a simple blowback operation and a unique cylindrical breech block that allows for a compact design. The PP-19-01 has a polymer stock and pistol grip, and a lightweight polymer receiver, making it lightweight and durable. This laser tag SMG, the PP-19-01 "VITYAZ", is constructed primarily of gun steel, with the exception of the buttstock, magazine, and pistol grip which are made of gun plastic. The compact design of this tagger necessitated the use of a smaller speaker from the "Mini" series. Nevertheless, the acoustic properties of the body produce a loud and high-quality sound.
The optical system of this laser tag gun uses a polyamide PBX-1 tube that provides a shooting range of up to 650 feet (200 meters) in the Prism version or a tube that can shoot up to 1,000 feet (300 meters) in the Parallax version.
Weighing in at 6.8 pounds (3.1 kilograms), the PP-19-01 "VITYAZ" has a folding frame stock, with a length range of 26 to 34.3 inches (66 to 87 centimeters).
This laser tag submachine gun also has a standard dovetail mount for the KV-80 mount located on the left side of the barrel box, which is typical of all weapons with the Soviet -era origin.
To turn on the PP-19-01 "VITYAZ", the player places the safety catch in the combat position. The reload is simulated with a charging handle for greater authenticity and realism.
A 2200 mAh lithium-ion battery powers this laser tag gun, providing up to 36 hours of play without recharging, depending on the generation.
