The PM – or Pistolet Makarova, (literally Makarov's Pistol) was developed in the post-World War II era based on the mechanics of the Walther PP pistol, and was intended as a small-sized weapon for senior officers of the Soviet Army to hit the enemy at close range, along with the larger and longer-barreled Stechkin automatic pistol, designed for junior officers. The PM was the most widely used pistol in the USSR.
The Makarov laser tag pistol is based on the Baikal MP air pistol, which is a replica of a combat counterpart. The body of the laser tag pistol is made of metal, so it feels like a real weapon. Plastic elements are only linings on the grip, as in the combat handgun.
The range of the pistol corresponds to the weapon class and is up to 130 feet (40 meters), however, due to the installation of a special plug in the muzzle of the pistol, the beam is quite narrow, so the weapon is recommended primarily for experienced players or as a secondary weapon for snipers. Rear sight and front sight are fixed.
The reloading of the laser tag pistol is done by moving the slider frame, and the activation is performed using the button located at the bottom of the pistol grip next to the charging socket.
The safety lock performs the standard function of locking the slide in the closed position. The Makarov laser tag pistol is 2.8 inches (17 centimeters) long and weighs 1.6 lb (730 grams).
Inside the laser tag gun there is a battery with a 0.75 Ah capacity, which is mainly installed into small-sized pistols and allows the owner to play up to 10 hours without recharging.
The durability of the pistol body facilitates using them in the rental laser tag business.
