SVD Titanium - steel series

The SVD is the most mass-produced sniper rifle, in service for decades in the USSR and throughout the Warsaw Pact counties, and is considered the world's first high-precision self-loading rifle. It was nicknamed «Whip» in the Soviet Army because of its characteristic sharp shot sound.

The SVD Titanium laser tag sniper gun is assembled from a dummy gun (factory deactivated firearm), making it one of the most reliable sniper guns in our product line, which has been assembled since mid-2012. Its reliability is absolutely similar to a combat sniper rifle.

The only negative feature of this rifle is its weight, which is 8.27 lbs (3.75 kilograms) even without the scope.

The electronics are fully integrated into the gun. We managed to implement the most convenient and authentic way to switch on the laser tag gun is to move the safety catch to the firing position. Reloading is done with the charging handle.

As in our other taggers, all events are accompanied by sounds, while the sniper rifle has its own sound set.

The gun’s speaker is located in a non-removable magazine, which provides a fairly loud sound.

There is a power LED next to the speaker, and the charging port has been moved to the buttstock.

As with our other taggers, this laser tag sniper gun has an X-cross shot backlight, so the player has to be extra careful not to light up their position.

Inside, as with all Steel Series kits, there is a 2.2 amp-hour battery that will last up to 36 hours of play, depending on the use of the online scoring option.

The range of the shot is in the class of laser tag guns and is slightly longer than assault rifles and SMGs. This sniper laser tag gun fires an infrared beam to over 820 feet (250 meters) with Prism optics and about 1,300 feet (400 meters) with sniper Parallax optics.

This gun body is one of the most expensive ones we buy for integration, so the final price was quite high. But it's worth it, as t result is you getting a laser tag sniper rifle similar to the combat original.
