The VSS Vintorez is a silenced sniper rifle designed primarily for flameless shooting in urban conditions and developed for the KGB of the USSR in 1987. It is currently in use in some countries of the post-Soviet space and in Middle Eastern countries.
Our company produces two variants of the VSS Vintorez sniper laser tag gun, this one and another smaller, lighter, and more affordable variant designed for personal use only. This laser tagger is part of the Steel Series, which means the body is made entirely of gun metal, including the silencer with fully integrated laser tag optics. The only non-metallic external element is the buttstock.
The weight of this laser tag sniper rifle is slightly higher than its airsoft rifle counterpart, and it weighs 5.7 lbs (2.6 kilograms), which is very close to the combat analog. The steel body has increased the reliability of the laser tagger to a level similar to laser taggers made from real firearms.
Reloading is done with the charging handle located on the right side of the laser tag gun. The laser tagger is charged by connecting a Li+ or Spider charger to the socket located in the gun's magazine. The socket is protected from dust and moisture by a special plug. The laser tagger has a 2.2 amp-hour battery, enough for up to 36 hours of play on a single charge.
The sling mount located on the buttstock next to the rubber butt allows the player to attach a one-point sling, which is the best suited for such a compact laser tag gun that measures only 35.2 inches (89.5 centimeters).
The laser tagger is turned on by turning the key in a special lock located in the magazine. The bolt and trigger can be locked with the safety to prevent accidental firing.
Players and laser tag operators should note that this laser tag sniper rifle does not have an OLED display option, but if the customer insists, we can install it in the magazine.
Like all weapons developed in the USSR, this sniper rifle has a dovetail mount on the left side of the receiver. It is used to mount a side adapter for telescopic and red-dot sights. Both the adapter and the sights are optional extras.
The range of the laser tag rifle is 820 feet (250 meters) with the basic Prism optics and up to 1,300 feet (400 meters) with the optional Parallax optics with a narrow beam.
