This rather overspesialized, but very interesting device is unique for the tactical laser tag industry. It will suit those operators who play counter-terrorism scenarios: assaulting a building, rescuing hostages, detaining criminals, and so on.
Such a device changes the entire tactics of the game in any scenario, allowing the shield owner to temporarily or completely close the player from hitting from the front.
Enemies will have to flank to hit the shield bearer.
The width of the tactical shield is an impressive 19 in (or 49 cm), and the height allows the player to hide behind it, even with both headband and vest, and is 39in (99 cm). This allows a small assault group to hide behind a shield in a linear formation, as the police and anti-terrorist units do in their special operations.
Most importantly, that we produce this tactical shield in two versions:
1. The first option is just awesome and unique because the shield has
- Its own hit sensor from the outside in the form of a standard RGB hit sensor block, as on headbands and vests,
- OLED display informing the shield bearer about the remaining shield strength points and battery status
- infrared emitter on the inside.
In this design, the shield has its own strength points, which gradually disappear when the enemy hits the shield. Once these strength points have disappeared completely, the shield loses its protective properties and begins to let all the hits that it got from the outside through the emitters located on the inside surface.
2. An ordinary shield without hit sensors and infrared emitters, which allows the player to simply hide behind it during a laser tag battle.
Both versions of the shield feature a transparent window, as well as two powerful LED lights on the sides of the shield, providing illumination at night or in the dark corridors of buildings, or blinding the enemy team in the dark.
On the inside of the shield, there are buttons for turning on these lights, a socket for charging the shield and an anti-vandal switch-on lock.
We made sure that not just powerlifter players are able to use the shield, so it only weighs 7.7lb (3.5 kilograms). Of course, this is far from a realistic weight for an armored device, but we still focus on rental games, and not on real SWAT drills.
To hold the shield, the player uses a horizontal handle for the player's hand and an adjustable strap to keep the weight on the crook of their elbow.
This shield is a unique and awesome device that will really create a WOW effect among your players.
