The ARP9 laser tag pistol-submachine gun is perfect for those who enjoy close-quarters combat (CQB), even though it doesn't have a real weapon counterpart. This tagger is based on the compact and lightweight G&G ARP 9 airsoft pistol-submachine gun, which combines an AR-15 rifle body with an extended magazine for the standard 9mm cartridge. Our shop also has an assault rifle version of this tagger. The tagger’s body is made of lightweight alloys and weapon-grade plastic.
What sets this pistol-submachine gun apart from others is the black plastic G&G drum magazine that replaces the standard extended magazine for the 9mm pistol cartridge. We've also installed a powerful speaker inside and added holes in the inside of the magazine to direct the sound to the player. The tagger also features an indicator light that glows green when it's turned on.
With the addition of a bunker magazine, the weight of the laser tag pistol-submachine gun increased slightly to 4.6 lbs (2.1 kilograms). However, it has very compact dimensions, measuring 19.7 inches (50 centimeters) in length with the stock folded and 23.2 inches (59 centimeters) with the stock extended.
The "Parallax" optics provide accuracy, and the tagger only supports this optical system. It has a range of fire up to 1,000 feet (about 300 meters).
The long Picatinny rail on the top of the barrel and forearm allows for the installation of collimator and telescopic sights. It also has iron sighs in its base, including a folding open-type front sight mounted on the front part of the barrel housing and a folding diopter sight above the pistol grip, both with convenient for horizontal and elevation adjustment.
The sliding stock has two fixed positions, short for shooting from the hip and long for aiming. It's also compact and easy to use, with a locking lever located at the bottom of the buttstock behind the pistol grip.
The ergonomic pistol grip fits comfortably in the hand, and the wide trigger guard allows shooting with gloves. A a single-point sling loop is located above the pistol grip at the base of the stock, and additional two-point sling mounts can be easily attached to the handguard.
The 2200mAh capacity battery is located in the stock tube and provides up to 36 hours of continuous play. The laser tag SMG can be charged using a Li+ charging device. The charging port is located on the underside of the pistol grip and is shielded by a rubber stopper.
The mode selector, located above the pistol grip, serves as the on/off switch. It can be operated with either the right or left hand, making reloading equally effortless.
We recommend using it for personal use, similar to all other airsoft replicas.
