BERETTA «ARX-160» Original series

The Beretta ARX-160 is one of the most advanced NATO-standard assault rifles that entered service with the Italian army in 2009, which is actually part of the huge layered Future soldier program.

We recommend this Beretta ARX-160 laser tag rifle for personal use, but we also have another Beretta ARX-160 in our arsenal, made from a gas-powered airsoft gun, which can be rented with some restrictions, although we do not recommend it.

This ARX-160 laser tag gun is made from an airsoft gun, and the body is almost entirely made of high-impact plastic. The pistol grip is not separate from the lower receiver, which increases the overall reliability of the model.
The tagger has a folding and 4-position telescopic buttstock. The overall length of the gun with the folded stock is 29.5 inches (75 centimeters), and with the butt unfolded, it reaches 38.6 inches (98 centimeters).

The tagger has 4 Picatinny rails. The top rail can be used to install any telescopic or red dot sights, red dot magnifiers, night vision and thermal sights for night laser tag games. In the basic version, the rifle already has a folding rear and front iron sights. The side and bottom rails can be used to mount a laser pointer and tactical flashlights, however the bottom is too short to mount standard NATO M203 type grenade launchers and would rather accept a foregrip for easier target acquisition.
As for the sling swivels used for attaching a gun sling, there are as many as 5 of them here, so it is easy to attach single-point, classic two-point and three-point slings to it.
Turning on the Beretta ARX-160 laser tag gun is performed by switching the fire selector to full auto position, which can be done both on the right and on the left side thanks to its ambidextrous nature.

In order to make the game as realistic and immersive as possible, we kept the reloading feature with the gun’s charging handle, but we do recommend not pulling it with all your fervor in the heat of battle.

In the basic configuration, the tagger has a 2,600 milliamp-hour battery, which increases to 3,000 mAh when buying a 10th generation laser tag gun. These batteries last up to 36 hours of play without further charge, depending on the use of energy-consuming options.

Range of fire is typical to other assault rifles:

• with Prism system, up to 820 feet (250 meters), optimal 600 feet (about 200 meters).
• with Parallax system, up to 1000 feet (about 300 meters).
