This is the lightest and shortest assault rifle in the Laserwar product line, a direct competitor to the KAC PDW in terms of weight, reliability and size. The tagger is almost a clone of the ARP9 submachine gun, but unlike it, it is classified as a full-fledged assault rifle with a standard M4/M16 magazine.
The main difference between the ARP 556 laser tag rifle and other assault rifles is that it features an optics system integrated into its handguard. Moreover, this rifle can only be equipped with Parallax optics in two renditions. Parallax assault optics have a range of up to 1000 feet (about 300 meters), and when equipped with sniper optics with a very narrow beam, the range will reach 1300 feet (about 400 meters).
Although we recommend this rifle for personal use only, it is great for both CQB combat and operators using realistic gear in case there are children aged 10 or older among the customers, because this rifle weighs only 4.6 pounds (2.1 kilograms), and the length through the use of the folding stock is from 21.7 to 26.8 inches (from 55 to 68 cm). 6-position buttstock will allow all players of all ages to fit the gun to their bodybuild.
2.2 Ah Lithium-ion battery will allow you to play up to 36 hours without further charge, depending on the use of online scoring and feedback with the vibration motor.
The receiver of this model is partially made of metal. The fire selector is on the both sides of the receiver and it is used to turn the tagger on/off.
This rifle utilizes a special M4 magazine, developed by Laserwar specifically for the integration of laser tag electronics. This magazine has a dedicated acoustic enclosure for the speaker, so the sound of this laser tag gun is exceptionally loud and clear.
