The new model of the M4 assault laser tag gun called "SHARK" has replaced the previous Colt M4-A1 "SKAT" model, which is gradually becoming discontinued.
Like the rest of our taggers from the Practical series, this M4 laser tag is made from an airsoft gun body. The body is made of weapon-grade plastic and light alloys, so the tagger must be used with care and we recommend it only for personal, not rental use. This M4 weighs 4.6 pounds (about 2.1 kg), which is much lighter than its real life counterpart.
As in many of our new models, we implemented the switching the gun on by the fire selector switch, located, like in most models based on the American AR15 platform, on the right side of the receiver above the pistol grip.
To reload the laser tag gun you need to pull the charging handle located at the back of the upper receiver.
The difference and most convenient feature of the new M4 is the longer Picatinny rail that is located on top of the entire long M-LOK handguard. In addition, part of the Picatinny extends to the receiver cover.
Such a long Picatinny rail allows the player to install a large number of various aiming devices, including sequentially, for example, a red dot magnifier + red-dot sight, or simply install a huge variety of tactical accessories, such as flashlights, aiming lasers and such.
By default, this rifle comes with flip-up rear and front sights. All reflex/red dot sights are sold separately.
The hexagonal fore-end can be extended with an external Prism optics featuring a wider hit beam and range of fire of 820 feet (about 250 meters) and a narrower hit beam on the Parallax optics with a range of fire of fire of about 1300 feet (400 meters).
The gun has a six-position collapsible buttstock, so the total length of the gun can be adjusted between 24.8 and 29.5 inches (from 63 cm to 75 cm).
Like most of our models, this M4 laser tag gun is powered by a 2.2 Ah battery that provides up to 36 hours of operation on a single charge depending on the equipment generation, which is more than enough for personal use; however, higher-capacity batteries are also available as an option.
