This is really the most popular realistic model of M4 laser tag guns in our store's arsenal. It turned out to be so successful that we even included it in some laser tag equipment business bundles, which is quite uncommon for airsoft conversions. We have been selling it since 2011 and previously we used to utilize an airsoft gun body from another 3rd party manufacturer with a fixed buttstock as a basis, and these taggers have been serving many business operators for more than 10 years (of course, they gradually upgraded electronics, emitters and replaced batteries).
This model turned out to be so successful that it is one of the few laser tag M4 rifles based on the airsoft guns bodies, which we surely can recommend for rental conditions with some restrictions. That is why in our product line, it is included in the Elite series, and not in the Practical one.
The tagger weighs slightly more than its closest AR-based equivalent, the M4 "SHARK" Original Series, because it has more metal and less light alloy in its body. Therefore, its weight is 6 pounds (about 2.75 kilograms)
To switch the tagger on, as with the real-life counterpart, you need to set the fire selector lever to the “full auto” (highest) position, and to reload the gun you need to pull its charging handle.
On the classic Colt M4 rifle handguard, there are 4 Picatinny rails, namely on the top bottom, and sides. They allow player to install a large number of various additional tactical accessories, such as telescopic and red-dot sights, additional laser designators, tactical flashlights and even night vision sights for gameplay in the dark.
All of these scopes are sold separately and the gun in its basic version comes with a fixed rear sight and a customizable square front sight post.
Inside the rifle, we install a high-capacity 3Ah battery, which allows the player to play up to 36 hours, depending on the equipment generation and integrated options (feedback module, OLED display, Wi-Fi)
A sling swivel on the front of the handguard allows the user to attach an optional two-point or three-point sling, the second side of which can be attached to a standard collapsible buttstock.
In this case, depending on the collapsed or fully extended positions of the buttstock, the tagger has a length in between from 33 to 38.2 inches (84 to 97 cm).
The rifle’s maximum range of fire is up to 820 feet (approximately 250 meters) with the Prism optical system installed, but its “sure shot” range is 600 feet (approximately 180 meters). With the Parallax system installed and under ideal conditions (little sun, cloudy weather), the range of fire increases for up to 1300 feet (approximately 400 meters).
At the same time, if you decide to use this tagger for rent business, we recommend using a Prism featuring a wider beam to make it easier for beginners to hit the enemy. If you plan on getting this gun for your personal use, a Parallax providing a narrower and as a result, more precise beam will be your best option, especially since its optical system looks like a gun muzzle brake.
