The assault rifles of the АК-100 rifle series are essentially modified AK74s, which differ from the original AKs in various characteristics. The AK105 was designed primarily for special forces and infantry fighting vehicles, which is why it is 4 inches (10 centimeters) shorter than the AK74M. In addition, the AK105 is distinguished by the fact that it has no wooden parts. The handguard along with the buttstock and pistol grip are made of high-impact, glass-filled polyamide. The rest of the AK105 is made entirely of gunmetal.
This tagger is based on a factory-deactivated weapon, which means that its reliability is equal to the real legendary AK.
We kept as many authentic features as possible in this laser tag gun to match is the combat counterpart, so the firing mode switch retains its regular functions. When the player moves it to the top safe position, firing and reloading are locked.
Switching between fire modes is done by setting the lever to auto or single fire modes respectively.
To reload this tagger, a standard charging handle mechanism is used, so everything is the same as the combat version.
As for the range of fire, it is standard for assault rifles with an external optical system. When installing a tube with a Prism laser tag optics system that looks like a suppressor, the range of fire will be about 820 feet (approximately 250 meters), and when installing an optical system with a Parallax module which is similar to a flash hider in size and looks, the range of fire will be up to 1,000 feet (300 meters) with a much narrower beam.
A 2.2 amp-hour battery is installed into the steel body, which will allow the owner to play for up to 36 hours without recharging.
One of the advantages of this tagger is its size. The length of the AK105 is only 28.7 inches (73 cm) with the buttstock folded, and it is 37.8 in (96 cm) with the buttstock unfolded.
The mass of the tagger is almost the same as the combat version and is 7.83 lb (3.55 kg).
There are standard adjustable rear and front sights on the top of the gun.
The tagger does not have its own Picatinny rails, however, any red dot or optical sight can be mounted using a special dovetail adapter that attaches to the left side of the receiver.
It should be noted that the Feedback and OLED options are installed in this tagger with only minor design changes. The Feedback does not fit into a standard factory pistol grip, so we had to replace it with an airsoft version, and in order to prevent the player from accidentally breaking the OLED display, we had to weld the stock in the unfolded position to install this option. Please consider these changes when making your decision.
Because the tagger is made from a deactivated model and is part of the Steel series, we are happy to recommend it for hard laser tag rental use.
Please note that this tag gun is not available for order in some countries, because some of its structural parts are prohibited for customs clearance, despite the fact that it is not a firearm and cannot be converted into one.
