The HK416 laser tag rifle is a replica of the H&K rifle, which is mix of the well-proven AR15 platform and the modernized G36 base, while the firing mechanics used were kept from the latter.
The HK416 laser tag gun is based on a gas-operated airsoft gun, which means the tagger is very durable (the original gun had to be solid enough to withstand a lot of load related to moving parts). The body of the HK416 tagger is made of metal, while the pistol grip and buttstock are made of impact-resistant plastic. Despite the metal body, the laser tag gun weighs only 6.6 pounds (3 kilograms).
We recommend it for personal use, but it can be used delicately in the laser tag rental business. The exterior is so strong that we left moving parts for deeper immersivity. Therefore, the tagger is turned on by switching the fire selector to full auto, and the charging handle similar to the M4/M16 is used to reload the laser tagger.
The upper receiver features a full-length Picatinny top rail, which continues uninterruptedly to the rail on the handguard, where you can mount both telescopic and red dot sights, also available in our laser tag store.
On the sides, the player can install their own additional accessories, such as a tactical flashlight, AN-PEQ unit or another laser pointer.
The optimal range is up to 820 feet (300 meters) with Prism optics and 1,000 feet (400 meters) with Parallax optics.
The tagger features a 6-position retractable stock, which is standard for the AR15 series, so the length of the tagger can be adjusted between 33.8 inches and 37 inches (from 86 to 94 centimeters).
